Use the outer packed dimensions
Measure the length, width and height of the package as it will travel, including its pallet, crate or protective packaging. The calculation multiplies these dimensions by the number of identical packages and converts the result to cubic metres.
Different sizes or irregular cargo?
Calculate each package size separately and include all results in your enquiry. For coils, machinery or irregular loads, describe the shape and provide packed dimensions and individual weights. The rectangular volume estimate does not assess loading layout, lifting points or whether packages can be stacked.
